Life beyond measure,  Life to the fullest sense.   How could such even be a possibility when all that surrounds you is the exact opposite?  How could you find LIFE  in the midst of death,  HOPE in the midst of despondency, restoration in the midst of devastation?  Is this Life to the full  really REAL - or  is it merely a mirage?

No, my friend - IT IS REAL.  It is real because HE IS REAL, and nothing can ever change it.

Jesus came so that we could have Absolute LIFE - not just part of it, but LIFE,  His LIFE, to the maximum.  Because of the sacrifice He made in His very own Blood,  you have every right to have and enjoy the Life He came to give.  Nobody can ever take that Life from you as long as you hold onto it, knowing that it is His will for you to have it.

God never intended for you to live any other kind of life than His absolute Life -  Jesus said that the thief does not come except to steal, to kill, and to destroy - but He came to give LIFE and Life only.

He is not the author of death or destruction, and never has been.  He creates, not destroys.

If any area of our life reeks with the stench of death, we can be certain that it was definitely not God's work of art.  John 10.10 is the dividing line between everything: whatever steals, kills, or destroys always originates from satan.  And whatever brings life comes only from God. The two can never be confused.  God can never bring evil, and satan can never work good.

James 1.17 clearly states that "EVERY GOOD and EVERY PERFECT gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning."

The Message translation of James 1.16-18 says - "So my dear friends, don't get thrown off course.  Every desirable and beneficial gift comes from heaven. The gifts are rivers of light cascading from the Father of Light.  There is nothing deceitful in God, nothing two-faced, nothing fickle.  He brought us to LIFE using the true Word..."

Every good and beneficial gift comes from one place: God Himself.  He will never send you evil.  Knowing that truth is vitally important.  When you know that His only will for you is goodness, and mercy, and abundant life - you will not accept anything to the contrary.   
Without that knowledge, the enemy will easily be able to steal from you what God has promised for your life, and you won't  always realize that he was the instigator of it.  Often you can even begin to believe that perhaps it was no longer God's will for you to have that promise fulfilled any way because of all your failures.  But when you have a revelation of God's absolute goodness for you,  YOU WILL NOT TOLERATE satan messing with your life, touching what is precious to you, or destroying your destiny in God.

If satan can move you from a place of faith in  God's life and goodness,  he can move you away from the plan of God for your life.    DON'T LET THAT TAKE PLACE!

Stay on the Word until you are totally convinced that God's will for you is only GOOD and Life beyond measure - regardless  of how miserably you may think you have failed Him.  As long as you keep your heart FULLY DEVOTED to Him and stick with what HE HAS SAID, He will fulfill His promise in your life.
Stay BELIEVING in His goodness.  Keep believing what He has promised and DON'T STOP BELIEVING.

Refuse to listen to satan's lies - to the words that steal, kill, and destroy.  Refuse to listen or accept anything contrary to the will of God for you.  In order to do that, you must become intimately acquainted with His Word - that is the only way you will know His Will, know His Goodness, and know His Heart.

You cannot really know Him apart from His Word.  God and His Word are one - so when you know His Word, you know Him.   And when you really know Him, then you will know His Life, know His character, and experience all that He has promised.

Job 36.11 says - "If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasures."

That is God's promise to those who choose to not do their own ways, but pursue HIS WAYS  with all their heart.  At the same time, it is possible to loyally obey and serve Him, and at the same time be robbed of that promise if  we have not become fully convinced that this IS His will for us.

Once you ARE convinced that it is His will for you to have absolute life in the fullest sense - you must continually believe in and stand firm on that promise.  Until we are continually, actively releasing our faith for the things God has promised us, we are actually not fully obeying and serving Him.

Hebrews 11.6 says that without FAITH it is impossible to please God.  Faith is not complicated.  This verse goes on to say that we must BELIEVE that God is and that He is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

FAITH is BELIEVING that GOD IS and GOD GIVES.  He IS GOOD and He GIVES GOOD.

Our faith, our believing in His goodness is what connects us to His goodness.  DON'T STOP BELIEVING.  No matter what you may be facing, don't stop believing that God's will for you is only goodness and mercy and life beyond measure.  Don't stop believing in His resurrection power to bring life in the midst of death.

A quote that I wrote to myself over a decade ago  says -  "If you are ever going to be successful, you are going to have to LIVE BY FAITH, EVERYDAY,  for the rest of your life."

Since that time, I have realized that living by faith is actually living in a constant awareness of the goodness of God and actively believing in it.  More than that, it is living EVERY MOMENT  believing that He is good and that He is good to YOU at all times.

It is when we know and live that way that we will live the Life He has for us to its most infinite power.

In the face of the things we have gone through, or are going through now, it's not always easy to even want to dream again.  It is true that dreaming alone won't heal the hurts or make things any better.

But if we will meditate and believe in the goodness of God and allow it to take over our mind and heart, the Holy Spirit will begin drawing up from within our God-soaked spirit dreams and desires that are faith-infused and that won't deceive or disappoint. 

You don't have to fear losing what God has given. What He gives lasts forever.  We have to keep believing in what He has said.  No matter what has gone wrong or how the circumstances we are facing may try to shatter our hope - WE MUST NOT EVER ALLOW ANYTHING TO TARNISH THE PROMISE THAT GOD HAS GIVEN US.  Everything else is subject to change - but God's promises will never change - hold fast to His promise!

Ephesians 3.20 says that according to His creative power at work inside us, He is able to do far above all that we can ask or think - infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes or dreams.

When you pray BY FAITH, when you dream BY FAITH you will receive. 

Jesus said that it will be done for you  AS YOU HAVE BELIEVED. (Matt.8.13)
STAND FAST in His Life,  stand fast in His goodness,  stand fast in His promise...   As you have BELIEVED it WILL be done for you.  Stir up your faith in His Love and in His faithfulness to you. HE WILL NOT FAIL.

Psalm 77.7-9 says - "Will the Lord cast off forever? And will He be favourable no more? Has His mercy ceased forever? Has His promise failed forevermore? Has God forgotten to be gracious?  Has He in anger shut up His tender mercies?..."

The answer is NO.  When questions like that arise in our mind, we need to do what the next verse says - "BUT I WILL REMEMBER the years of the right hand of the Most High.  I WILL REMEMBER the works of the Lord!"

What are His works?  Goodness, mercy, faithfulness...

REMEMBER THEM. Remember His promise.  Meditate on His Love and His goodness.  Don't let His promises slip through your fingers for even a moment.

In honour of the Cross,  in honour of Jesus, remember that He came so that you and I could have Life in the fullest sense and have it beyond measure.  And BELIEVE IT.  Hold on to His Life with all your heart.

That is His promise to you:

      LIFE: to the infinite power

                   LIFE that never ends

                           LIFE that is yours

                                                 Forever...
