God’s Prosperity Will Work Anywhere
(Prosperity is Always God’s Will – Part 3)
God’s Prosperity Will Work Anywhere. God will make a way where there seems to be no way – when we look to Him. It does not matter how impossible the situation may look. Nothing is impossible with God. He can cause us to prosper and walk in abundance regardless of what is going on around us. God’s prosperity will work in any region of the earth regardless of the economic situation in that area. God is not limited by natural circumstances or resources. He has the power to change, to create, and to supply anything that is needed. All that He requires is our absolute trust in Him as our Source. When we have a need, we do not have to look to anyone but Him to meet that need.
If I need money, does God not have to use someone to give that money to me? Not necessarily. He may choose to work through a person to deliver to you what you need, or He may choose another means of delivery. God is not confined to any one particular operation of doing things. He is not even confined to using money – He can supply our need with or without it. The means by which He meets our need is not our business. Our responsibility is to keep our focus on Him – for He is the SOURCE. Whatever vessel He chooses to work through to supply what is needed is only the delivery service.
Matthew 17.24-27 records the account of when Jesus taught Peter about paying taxes. He then instructed Peter: “Go to the sea, cast in a hook, and take the fish that comes up first. When you have opened its mouth, you will find a piece of money; take that and give it to [the authorities] for Me and you.” The coin that Peter took from the mouth of the fish was the exact amount for the taxes. In this instance, the Lord chose to use a fish to be the means of delivery for what was needed. Taking into account that the coin might have been at the bottom of the sea before the fish retrieved it, human assistance would have been less effective (if not useless) in that particular situation. God knew where the money was, and He knew how to get it into Peter’s hand. Peter had a part in receiving his need met – that part was trust and obedience to the Lord’s direction.
